Laboratory testing may be suggested depending on your health concerns and previous laboratory work-up. Dr. Menard has various diagnostic tests available, including:
- Standard laboratory testing (these are the same blood tests available through your family doctor and include CBC, ferritin, TSH, T3, T4, serum B12, etc.)
- Pap smears
- Zinc tally taste test (to rule out a zinc deficiency)
- Urinalysis
- Food allergy testing - a blood test that uses a state-of-the-art enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay technique (ELISA) to measure serum antibodies to foods and inhalants. A finger prick test can be used for children.
- Salivary hormone testing (available for both pre and post-menopausal women, and men)
- Neurotransmitter testing (available for conditions such as severe insomnia, anxiety, depression, ADHD and autism)
